Ingredients:
8 cups chicken broth or
8 chicken broth cubes and 8 C water
2 cups chopped onion
2 T paprika
4 potatoes, cubed
7 cups (1 lb) green cabbage, chopped (about 1/2 head)
8 oz kielbasa, cut into pieces
1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
Bring water, broth cubes, onion and paprika to a boil in a 6 qt pot stirring to dissolve cubes. Add potatoes and cabbage, return to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in kielbasa and tomatoes. Increase heat to medium and boil gently for 5 minutes.

For more flavor, sauté the onions until they start to turn brown and then add the water and other ingredients
