Enchilada Pie - Mari


Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 6 corn or flour tortillas
  • 1/2 can (4 1/2 oz.) olives (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

Brown beef and onion. Add seasonings and tomato sauce. In greased casserole dish, alternate layers of meat sauce, tortillas, olives and cheese. Add water last. Cover tightly and bake at 400 for 20 min.
