
Ingredients
- 16 oz sour cream
- 1 can Cream of Chicken or Cream of Celery soup
- 1/4 c melted unsalted butter
- 2 c grated sharp or extra sharp cheese
- 1/2 c chopped green onion
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1/4 c chives (optional)
- 2 lbs frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
Topping
- 2 c corn flakes, saltine crackers or potato chips
- 1Tbsp melted butter (if using potato chips omit butter)
Directions
In a large bowl mix all the ingredients except for the hash browns. Add the hash browns and mix thoroughly. Spread in a 9x13 casserole dish.
Mix the topping ingredients and spread evenly over the casserole. Bake at 375° for 60 - 75minutes.
